Shipping policy

At AA Christmas Trees, our goal is to make your holiday setup simple and stress-free. From the moment you place your order until the tree is standing tall in your home, our team is here to keep the process smooth and reliable.

Delivery Coverage
We deliver across all five boroughs of New York City. Customers in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx enjoy complimentary delivery, while Staten Island and Far Rockaway orders carry a $20 delivery fee. 

For bulk requests or addresses outside of the city, send us a note at info@nycchristmastrees.com and we’ll work with you on special arrangements.


Timing & Scheduling

Orders can often be delivered as soon as the following day if they’re placed by 9:00 PM ET the night before. Same-day deliveries are sometimes possible, but availability is limited, so calling us directly at (347) 733-5475 is the fastest way to confirm.

Since December is our busiest season, we recommend placing your order several days ahead to lock in your preferred slot.

For customers booking ornament or lighting packages, those services are scheduled 24–48 hours after delivery so the tree has time to settle before installation. We will call or email you to schedule the appointment.


Delivery Windows
Our crews are on the road every day from November 15 through December 24. When ordering, you’ll be able to choose from three delivery windows:

  • Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

  • Evening (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)


Fresh Tree Prep

Every AA Christmas Tree is delivered with care, and part of that service includes giving the base a fresh cut when we arrive. This small but important step helps your tree drink water right away and ensures it lasts longer once it’s in your stand. Our crew performs the cut in front of your home so you can see the process firsthand.


Insurance for Building Deliveries
Some apartment buildings and co-ops in New York City require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before allowing deliveries. To make sure everything goes smoothly, here’s how we handle it:

  • Requesting a COI: If your property manager needs one, simply note it in your delivery instructions when placing your order.

  • Receiving the COI: We’ll email you a copy ahead of time for your records, and our drivers will also have the paperwork with them on the day of delivery.

  • Custom Forms: If your building provides a sample COI or has its own template, please send it to info@nycchristmastrees.com right after you order. This ensures we complete the correct paperwork quickly and keeps your delivery on schedule.

What to Expect on Delivery Day
Please provide a working cell phone number when placing your order. This allows us to send real-time updates and for your driver to contact you directly.

If someone else will be accepting the delivery, include their contact information in your order notes.

Staying reachable during your time window helps us deliver your tree as smoothly as possible.


Stair Deliveries

Trees over 9 feet tall can be a challenge in city buildings, and we want to set the right expectations in advance. If an elevator is unavailable or the tree cannot fit inside, stair delivery fees apply for floors above the 3rd level:

  • Trees 9–11 ft: $10 per floor

  • Trees 12–14 ft: $20 per floor

When ordering, please indicate if stairs will be necessary and how many flights are involved. If this information is left out and our drivers discover stairs are required at the time of delivery, we’ll complete the job and send a stair-use invoice afterward.


Tree Removal After the Holidays

When the season wraps up, our removal crews step in so you don’t have to worry about dragging a dried-out tree through your building. Tree removal is offered daily through January 12, 2026.

Customers may choose from three removal windows based on availability:

  • Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

  • Evening (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)


Because time slots are first-come, first-served, we recommend booking your removal when you place your tree order.

Before our crew arrives, please make sure your tree is fully undecorated — ornaments, lights, and the stand must be removed. Even for customers who purchased our Lights Installation service, lights must be taken down in advance, as removal staff cannot disassemble decorated trees.
